The first days.

Some roses picked out of our new backyard!

The first things we noticed about our new place:

1. There was so much light flooding through the windows. Apartment living is confined and somewhat dark. All the windows in our place just makes it feel so open. Love it.

2. Washer/Dryer=Freedom. No more taking our laundry with us everywhere we go. We can do our laundry in our own home. Love it.

3. Space. We kept saying, "What are we going to put in the bedrooms? There is so much storage!" Obviously, Love it.

4. Backyard. The promise of spring gardening. I want a garden and flowers and outdoor living. This means barbeques and parties and friends and fun. Love it. 

5. Jay gets a workspace. He loves that he gets a place to store all of his tools and woodworking stuff. So great.

We feel really blessed that we get to live in such a great place in such a short amount of time. We feel like we can actually settle down for a while and make this place home. It is a special time.
