Dear Husband. Remember our second year of marriage? We were in Hawaii when we celebrated our second anniversary. We had a great day. We snorkeled, we ate bomb food, drank yummy drinks, napped the day away. It was great. And remember our wonderful meal out. We were fancy pants that night. We pretended like we had money. And even thought we don't, it was super fun to pretend.
And remember our lunch at Bongo Ben's? Sitting on the waterfront. Talking about how far we have come. And man. We have come along way from that apartment in L.A.
And oh man, our second year of marriage was jam packed. We moved. I started a new job. We got Rosie. Went on trips. Hung out with the people we love and each other. I love building our life together. I love us.
Jay, I have so much fun with you. Just you. I love knowing that I get to be married to my best friend. For reals. Super cheesy and real.
You have so much joy in you. And I know that I say this all the time, but I am so glad that you live your life in an open way. You know, you love opening, let people in, deal with problems that are not your own. You care for others and make people feel comfortable. And you are so hard working. You would do anything for our family, which right now is just us, but I know that our family is your priority. So thanks. For all of that and more.
Here's to our second year of marriage! On to number three!
I love you guys.
