Another project

For our newly painted living room, Jay made this AMAZING coat rack. All the knobs are from World Market and Jay picked them all out himself.

The craftsman next to his project. He does everything. I love him for that. Real man right here. And the total cost of this project was only $26! Love it. Love him.

Notice, there is still a glob of painter's tape stuck the wall. I really know how to style for a picture. Jay finished this project right before we had our 'book study' group over for dinner. Got to show it off. We both loved it...

Saturday Showers.

Today is Shower Day!!! That's right. My friend, Michelle, you know the one I mean, she is having her first bridal shower! She is one lucky girl. 

Anyway, I truly wish that I could be there to celebrate with her. However, due to the fact that she is two states away, it couldn't happen.

I wanted to send a little surprise her way to help her celebrate. SOOOOO, I made her some fabric banners with her & Sterling's initials and wedding date! I sent them up to bridal-shower-planner Erin, who is putting the whole shower together.

 
 Hopefully, the banners fit into the decorations and are a fun little addition to the day. I hope the shower was a success, full of joy, and made bridesy feel so special.
