An October Weekend

Weekends get crazy. It seems like plans just pop up. Before you know it, all the weekends are booked. Jay and I decided that it was time to put plans for us on the calendar. Things we wanted to do. Second weekend in October, we planned to camp.

We tried out Fairview Campground, which is located 16 miles north of Kernville.
Cool days. Cold nights.
So nice to get away.

We decided to open up our camping trip. Shel & Eric came! YAY!
Here Rosie is wanting them to wake up the first morning.

Coffee drinkers. That Coleman coffeemaker is so great.

In the afternoon, we walked down the river. Rosie jumped down. Such a nice warm afternoon. I feel truly relaxed during camping.

Unlikely friends. Shel said, "Take a picture of me with Rosie." Um, What?! Didn't expect that. Turned out to be a cute picture.

We have camping love, once again. Love him.

Our little warthog. In a vest.

Look who showed up! Katie!
It was fun to have an addition to the party. Even though she is a city-slicker, she fit right in to our camping world. Well, for the most part. She is very girly, however. Ha.

Rosie wanted to be part of the action.

Dinner-making. We had a great time hanging out with everyone. Lots of laughs and joking around. Glad to have these people in our lives. Thanks for a fun trip Frias family and Cunninghams.
